To optimize combustion in your Propex heater, an onboard air flow sensor measures the volume of air moving through the combustion chamber. This sensor then signals the onboard electronics whether the air volume is within acceptable parameters for optimal combustion.

Combustion air flow through the heater is precisely metered by the aperture of the end caps on the combustion pipes. The holes in the end caps are sized in such a way that they provide the perfect amount of air for combustion.

If your end caps are missing or damaged, you may experience interruptions in the operation of the heater unit. The end caps are spot welded to the stainless steel pipe at the factory and are not easily replaceable. Luckily Propex sells 22mm pipes for the HS2000 and HS2211 and 26mm pipes for the HS2800 at www.propexnorthamerica.com
